Job Purpose:
The Admissions Officer provides full administrative support to the Admissions Department, ensuring the efficient and accurate management of registrations, admissions processes, and other related tasks while maintaining exceptional customer service. The role involves managing the entire admissions process, from initial enquiry to enrolment, and supporting the school’s recruitment and retention efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions Process:
* Serve as the first point of contact for prospective parents, responding to inquiries via phone, email, or in person with a professional and welcoming approach.
* Provide prospective families with school tours or arrange online chats in the absence of in-person tours, ensuring they receive all necessary information.
* Support the admissions process from enquiry to final decision, processing applications according to Cranleigh Abu Dhabi’s policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records for all enquiries, applications, and data on OpenApply, iSAMS, and other relevant platforms.
* Ensure timely follow-ups for all prospective applicants and track documentation and paperwork throughout the admissions process.
* Coordinate and manage the Y3+ admissions evaluation process, including liaising with families, arranging assessments (online, in person, or at applicants' schools), and providing assessments of student suitability.
* Manage the administration and assessment process for Pre-Prep Taster Sessions, including attending sessions outside of normal school hours if necessary.
* Coordinate the re-enrolment process for existing students.
* Provide clear communication to families regarding offer decisions, responses, and next steps.
* Ensure new families receive welcome materials and are supported for a smooth transition.
* Collaborate with the academic and administrative teams to ensure a seamless induction for new students.
IT/Data Management/General Admin:
* Manage the Admissions inbox, ensuring emails are responded to promptly and efficiently.
* Oversee the admissions filing system using Google Suite, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of applications, inquiries, and other documentation.
* Regularly update and maintain data across admissions platforms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Support the Head of Admissions with the admissions calendar and provide necessary reports related to admissions data.
* Participate in various recruitment and enrolment initiatives, contributing to the promotion of the school and its programmes.
Enrolment & Relationship Management:
* Maintain strong relationships with prospective parents, answering questions and guiding them through the admissions process.
* Represent Cranleigh Abu Dhabi’s ethos and standards of excellence, ensuring all prospective families are treated with respect and care.
* Participate in enrolment and marketing events, ensuring effective promotion of the school and the generation of new enrolments.
* Work closely with the school’s Senior Leadership Team, including the Principal, Registrar, and other key staff, to update and maintain enrolment figures.
Compliance & Reporting:
* Stay updated with ADEK regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines during the admissions process.
* Provide regular reports to the Head of Admissions, Senior Leadership Team, and other relevant stakeholders regarding enrolment trends, projections, and status updates.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-focused role, preferably within the education sector.
Experience in data management and using admissions software such as iSAMS and Salesforce is desirable.
Fluent in English (both written and oral); Arabic is a plus.
A positive, solution-focused attitude with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
Experience working in a school environment is considered a bonus.

Main Duties:
- Develop and deliver library information literacy sessions to help students become independent and effective users of library and online resources
